Overview

Squash TM is an open source application for software test and requirement management. Teams capture requirements, write and organise reusable test cases into structured libraries, build and schedule test campaigns and iterations, then record and follow execution results and coverage from a single web interface. It gives QA and delivery teams a self hosted, vendor neutral home for their functional testing knowledge.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg delivers Squash TM preconfigured on a hardened, fully patched base with the application bound to loopback behind an nginx reverse proxy. It is secure by default: no default login survives in the image, and two secrets, the database password and the administrator web password, are generated uniquely on each instance's first boot and written to a root only file. Every deployment carries a paired deployment guide and 24/7 support.

Common uses

  • Manage requirements, test cases and coverage in one place
  • Plan and run functional test campaigns and iterations
  • Give QA teams a self hosted, vendor neutral test management tool
