Overview

CloudBeaver CE is a web-based database manager - a browser edition of the popular DBeaver desktop tool - that lets you connect to, browse and query your databases entirely from a web browser. Add a connection, explore schemas and data in a rich navigator, and write and run SQL with a full-featured editor, all without installing a desktop client. This image delivers CloudBeaver CE fully installed and running behind an nginx reverse proxy, so a database console is serving within minutes of launch. The current release available is CloudBeaver CE 26.1.2.

Application Stack

CloudBeaver runs as a container - a Java web application - bound to the loopback interface and fronted by nginx on port 80, with the WebSocket upgrade the SQL editor and result streaming need already configured. Docker and the reverse proxy start on boot and the container restarts on failure. CloudBeaver's workspace - the server configuration, user accounts, saved connections and query history - lives on a dedicated data disk so it is independently resizable and separate from the operating system disk.

Manage Databases From Your Browser

Connect to PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite and many other databases over standard drivers. Browse databases, schemas, tables, views and columns in the metadata navigator. Inspect and edit table data in a filterable, sortable grid. Write SQL in an editor with syntax highlighting and auto-completion, run statements and scripts, and view results, execution plans and history. Export result sets and manage multiple connections from one console. Role-based access control lets you add teams and users with scoped permissions.

Secure First Boot

On the first boot of your instance a one-shot service completes CloudBeaver's initial server configuration and creates the admin account with a fresh password, unique to that instance, recorded in a file only the root user can read. No shared or default credentials ship in the image.

Ready To Use

Open the web UI in your browser, read the generated password, sign in as the admin user, and start adding database connections and running queries. A built-in health endpoint answers on the reverse proxy for load-balancer and uptime checks. The CloudBeaver workspace lives on a dedicated, independently resizable data disk.
