Overview
This is a ready to use monitoring appliance that combines grafana community edition with a prometheus metrics server and a node exporter agent. Prometheus scrapes host metrics, grafana visualises them, and a starter dashboard plus a preconfigured datasource are in place from first boot so live metrics appear without any setup. It suits teams that want an out of the box observability stack for a server or small fleet.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships the stack hardened and fully patched, secure by default: the metrics server and exporter bind to loopback only rather than being exposed, and a unique grafana administrator password and secret key are generated on the first boot of every instance with no default login surviving into the image. Every deployment is paired with a step by step guide and backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.
