Overview
NATS is a high performance open source messaging system for publish and subscribe, request and reply and event streaming. This image enables JetStream persistence for durable streams and at least once delivery. It suits cloud native services that need low latency messaging.
Why the cloudimg image
The cloudimg image runs NATS as a dedicated system user under systemd with JetStream enabled and no repository setup required, hardened out of the box. The JetStream store lives on a separate, independently resizable data volume kept off the operating system disk. Backed by 24/7 cloudimg support for JetStream configuration, clustering and client integration.
