Overview
VictoriaMetrics is an open source time series database and monitoring solution that stores metrics and serves Prometheus compatible read and write APIs. It ingests data from Prometheus, InfluxDB, Graphite and OpenTSDB sources and queries with MetricsQL, a PromQL superset.
Why the cloudimg image
The cloudimg image is hardened and fully patched with VictoriaMetrics running as a service, the vmui web interface and metrics APIs on port 80 and the metrics store on a dedicated resizable data disk. A unique admin password is generated on first boot and stored in a root only file, with the database bound to loopback behind nginx, and 24/7 cloudimg support included.
