Overview

GoCD is an open source continuous integration and continuous delivery server from Thoughtworks. It models complex build and release workflows as pipelines and shows a value stream map that visualises every change from commit through to deployment.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg ships GoCD hardened and fully patched on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, with the web console and a built in agent ready on first boot. GoCD is open by default, so the image enables password authentication and generates a unique administrator credential on first boot with no default login, all backed by 24/7 support.

Common uses

  • Continuous delivery pipelines
  • Build and release orchestration
  • Value stream mapping
