Overview
Komari is a lightweight, self hosted server monitoring dashboard. A central server renders the web dashboard and keeps the history, while small agents installed on each machine report CPU, memory, disk, network and load back to it in real time. The result is a single live view of every server you run, with per host detail and historical charts, from a stack small enough to sit comfortably on the smallest instance.
It suits anyone who wants to own their monitoring rather than rent it, from a handful of personal servers to a team keeping an eye on a modest production fleet.
Why the cloudimg image
This image is the Komari server. Komari normally opens an unauthenticated setup wizard on its first run, where whoever reaches the machine first becomes the administrator; the cloudimg build closes that gap by generating a unique administrator password during first boot and only then allowing the dashboard onto the network, so the console is never reachable unclaimed or with a shared password. The server itself listens only on the loopback interface behind an nginx reverse proxy configured for the dashboard's live WebSocket traffic, an agent for the host is already registered so the dashboard shows real metrics the moment you sign in, and that bundled agent runs with remote control switched off. History lives on a dedicated data volume, and every deployment carries 24/7 support.
