Overview
lakeFS brings Git like branching, committing, and merging to object storage, letting teams version large scale data lakes. It is used to build reproducible, isolated data workflows over S3 compatible storage.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg delivers lakeFS hardened and fully patched on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, preconfigured so the web interface and API respond on first boot. A unique administrator credential is generated on first boot with no default login, and 24/7 support is included.
