Overview
ConvertX is a self hosted online file converter with a clean web interface. You sign in, upload a file, choose a target format, and ConvertX converts it using a large bundle of open source converters, then lets you download the result or review a history of past conversions. It handles more than a thousand input and output formats across images, documents, audio, video, e books, vector graphics and 3D models, so a whole toolbox of format conversions lives behind one private web app inside your own cloud account.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships ConvertX hardened and fully patched, with security enforced from first boot. A unique owner account and a unique session signing secret are generated on each virtual machine, no default account or secret is ever shipped, and open sign up and anonymous use are disabled so the empty instance cannot be seized. The data volume ships empty, so no files, history or secrets are baked into the image, and the application is bound to loopback behind nginx. It comes with a paired deployment guide and 24/7 cloudimg support.
