deegree, an open source OGC geospatial web service framework, publishing standards compliant maps and features on first boot.
deegree is a framework of OGC compliant geospatial web services. It publishes spatial data as standards based Web Feature Service (WFS), Web Map Service (WMS), Web Map Tile Service (WMTS) and Catalogue Service (CSW) endpoints, and includes a browser based services console for administering workspaces, data sources and services. Institutions use it to serve spatial data to clients such as desktop GIS, web maps and other OGC applications.
cloudimg ships deegree hardened and fully patched on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, preconfigured with a ready to serve demo workspace so a fresh instance answers real OGC requests immediately, with all workspace configuration and data on a dedicated data volume. The services console and configuration API are fenced behind a unique administrator password generated on first boot, so there is no open or default admin surface, and 24/7 support stands behind the image.
