Overview
FacturaScripts is an open source ERP and invoicing platform built for small and medium businesses. It covers the whole commercial cycle in one web application: customers and suppliers, quotes, sales and purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices and receipts, alongside stock control, tax handling and double entry accounting. Documents flow into one another, so a quote becomes an order and an order becomes an invoice without re entering anything, and each one is numbered from the series you configure.
Beyond the commercial documents it keeps the ledger: invoices post to accounting entries, receipts track what has been paid and what is outstanding, and tax is calculated per line against the rates you set. A plugin architecture lets you add fields, reports and whole modules for your own workflow without forking the core, and the interface ships in a number of languages.
Why the cloudimg image
The cloudimg image is a complete FacturaScripts appliance rather than an empty server: the database, its least privilege user and the application configuration are all created on your first boot, and the full database schema is built up front so invoicing works from your very first sign in. Every password is generated uniquely per instance, the administrator, application database and database root credentials are written to a root only file, and the web server is held back until that has happened so the setup wizard is never exposed. The interface is set to English, the database is bound to loopback only, and the database and application tiers each get their own dedicated data volume.
