Overview

Frappe Lending is an open source loan management application built on the Frappe framework and ERPNext. It covers the lending lifecycle end to end: defining loan products, capturing loan applications, sanctioning and disbursing loans, generating repayment schedules, recording repayments, accruing interest, managing loan security and collateral, and handling restructuring and write offs, with every movement posted to the underlying accounts.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg ships Frappe Lending hardened, fully patched and preconfigured so the lending module is usable the moment you sign in, with ERPNext, the full frappe bench, MariaDB and Redis already built and wired for production behind nginx and gunicorn, and a starter company and chart of accounts in place. A unique Administrator password, site database password and encryption key are generated on first boot with no default login. Paired with a step by step deploy guide and backed by 24/7 support.

Common uses

  • Loan origination and servicing
  • Microfinance and credit unions
  • In house staff and asset lending
