Overview

FreeScout is a free, open source help desk and shared mailbox built on the Laravel framework, a self hosted alternative to Zendesk and Help Scout. Turn incoming email into a shared inbox of conversations, assign and reply to tickets, use saved replies, tags and internal notes, and extend it with modules.

It suits support teams, agencies and any organisation that wants a self hosted ticketing system they fully control, with a clean web interface and no per seat SaaS fees.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg delivers FreeScout hardened, fully patched and preconfigured so the sign in page is working immediately, served over HTTPS with a certificate generated uniquely for your instance. A unique administrator account is generated on first boot with no default login, the database schema is already migrated and the install is already complete, and every deployment is paired with a step by step deploy guide and backed by 24/7 support. cloudimg is not affiliated with the FreeScout project.

Common uses

  • Self hosted email help desk and ticketing
