Overview
Grimmory is an open source digital library for people and teams with a serious collection of ebooks, comics and audiobooks. It organises EPUB, PDF, MOBI, comic and audiobook files into libraries and shelves, fetches cover art and metadata, gives every reader their own account, shelves and progress, and serves a built in browser reader and audiobook player alongside an OPDS catalogue and Kobo and KOReader sync so the same library follows you onto a dedicated e-reader.
Why the cloudimg image
The cloudimg image runs Grimmory the way upstream recommends, from its official container image, with a bundled database and a hardened reverse proxy assembled and tuned for you on a single instance. A dedicated data volume holds the database, your books, audiobooks, covers and auto import folder. Every instance generates its own database and administrator passwords at first boot and claims the administrator before the console is ever reachable, so no two deployments share a secret and no stranger can claim your library first. The complete corresponding source ships on the instance, and 24/7 cloudimg support is included.
