Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg delivers Grocy fully installed and configured on a PHP and nginx stack with a self contained SQLite datastore, so the web interface is working the moment the instance boots, with the database schema already initialized. A unique administrator password is generated on first boot and stored in a root only file, so no default or shared login ships in the image. Your Grocy database, configuration and file storage sit on a dedicated data disk you can snapshot and resize independently, and every deployment is paired with a step by step deploy guide and backed by 24/7 support.
