Overview

kivitendo is a free and open source web based ERP system built around double entry accounting. It brings customers and vendors, quotations, sales and purchase orders, invoices, articles, inventory and general ledger together in one browser interface, and is the community continuation of the long established Lx Office and SQL Ledger projects.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg delivers kivitendo fully patched on a hardened Ubuntu 24.04 base with a bundled PostgreSQL database and an authentication database plus a ready to use company dataset created for you, so it serves on first boot. Every credential, the administration password, the login user password and the database password, is generated uniquely on first boot with no default login, and the image ships with a paired step by step deployment guide and 24/7 support.
