Overview
MapStore is a web GIS framework for creating, saving and sharing interactive maps, dashboards, GeoStories and charts. It brings together layers from OGC services such as WMS, WFS and WMTS, from your own map servers, or from public basemaps, and presents them in a browser interface your users can explore and publish.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships MapStore hardened and fully patched on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, backed by PostgreSQL instead of the embedded database upstream reserves for evaluation, with the database and data directory on a dedicated data volume. A unique administrator password is generated on first boot and the seeded demo account is removed, so there is no default login, and 24/7 support stands behind the image.
