Overview
OpenMage LTS is the community maintained long term support edition of Magento Open Source, a full featured open source ecommerce platform. It provides a product catalog, shopping cart and checkout, order and customer management, CMS pages and blocks, promotions and price rules, multi store and multi currency support, and a complete administration backend. Merchants run a professional online store, extend it with the large Magento module ecosystem, and keep receiving security and compatibility fixes long after Magento 1 reached end of life, all from a single web application.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships OpenMage LTS fully installed, hardened and patched, served over HTTPS so the storefront and admin answer the moment the instance boots, with no setup wizard to complete. The image is secure by default and stores customer and order data: it ships no known credential. On each instance's first boot a fresh administrator password, a fresh database password, a fresh encryption key and a randomised admin path are generated, written to a root only file, and the store is served with a certificate generated uniquely for that instance. Every image is paired with a step by step deploy guide and backed by 24/7 support.
