Overview

Plane is an open source project and issue tracking tool, a self hosted alternative to Jira and Linear. Teams organise work into workspaces and projects, then track it as issues with states, priorities, labels, assignees and estimates, grouped into cycles and modules and viewed as lists, kanban boards, calendars or spreadsheets.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg delivers the stock upstream Plane Community stack fully patched on a hardened base, with its PostgreSQL database, Valkey cache, RabbitMQ queue and MinIO object store wired together behind a built in reverse proxy and serving on first boot. Every secret, the database password, storage keys, the application secret key and a first admin user with its own password, is generated uniquely per machine on first boot with no default login, and a ready to use workspace, project and administrative API key are seeded so the tracker works immediately.
