Overview

Request Tracker is a mature, open source ticketing platform for tracking requests, incidents and tasks through their whole lifecycle, with queues, custom fields, approvals and a full permission model. Teams use it to run help desks, IT service management, and operational and security workflows.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg ships Request Tracker hardened, fully patched and preconfigured with a bundled database, so the ticketing system is ready to use, with all request data on a dedicated disk. A unique admin credential and database secret are generated on first boot with no default login. Backed by a paired deployment guide and 24/7 support.

Common uses

  • Help desk and support ticketing
  • IT service management workflows
  • Incident and security response tracking
