Overview

Shlink is an open source, self hosted URL shortener that gives you full ownership of your short links, their data and their analytics. It exposes a REST API for programmatic link creation, ships with the official Shlink web client for managing links and reading visit statistics, and supports QR codes and branded domains.

Why the cloudimg image

The cloudimg image ships Shlink fully installed on PHP and nginx, generates a fresh administrator API key on first boot so no shared credentials are ever baked in, keeps the SQLite database on a dedicated data disk, comes with a paired deployment guide and is backed by 24/7 cloudimg support.

Common uses

  • Branded marketing campaign links
  • Programmatic link creation via the REST API
  • QR code campaigns with scan analytics
