Overview

Swing Music is a self hosted music streaming server and player for your own local audio files, like a private Spotify for a collection you own. It scans your music folders, reads tags and cover art, and streams to a rich multi user web player with playlists, favourites and listening statistics.

Why the cloudimg image

cloudimg delivers Swing Music hardened and fully patched, fronted by nginx and preconfigured so the player answers on first boot. A unique administrator password is generated on first boot with no default login, the complete AGPL source is shipped on disk, and 24/7 support is included.

Common uses

  • Stream your own music library anywhere
  • A private multi user home music player
  • Self hosted alternative to music subscriptions
