Overview
Medusa.js is an open source headless commerce platform built on Node.js that provides the cart, order, product, and payment logic behind an online store through a modular API. Teams pair it with a custom storefront to run digital and physical goods sales on their own stack.
Why the cloudimg image
cloudimg ships Medusa preconfigured and running on a hardened, fully patched Ubuntu 24.04 base, so the commerce API and admin are reachable straight after boot. A unique admin credential is generated on first boot, so there is no default login to change, and 24/7 support stands behind the image.
